Felicia Rosario was born in New York City to immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic. She attended Harvard College where she studied Biochemical Sciences and peer-review published her thesis work in the journal Molecular and Cellular Biology. She went on to study medicine at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. While at Columbia, she was president of the Black and Latino Student Organization (BALSO) and co-chair elect for the Northeast region of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA). She matched in psychiatry at the University of Southern California.
Felicia met Lawrence Ray during her intern year through her brother while he was at Sarah Lawrence College. Lawrence went on to manipulate and enslave Felicia for almost ten years. He was arrested in 2020 and Felicia testified at his trial in March 2022.
Felicia is currently working as an IT & Management consultant and teaches SAT test prep to underprivileged students in her spare time. She hopes to return to the practice of medicine and one day specialize in Forensic Psychiatry.
