Rebuilding lives
Last year, we served over 9,200 adults and children through a range of comprehensive services.
We meet the needs of the most vulnerable survivors. 82% of all clients live in poverty and 70% of adult clients are immigrants.
80-85% of participants in our Economic Empowerment Program graduate with career readiness skills, and 65% find work within one year.
We provide shelter to nearly 500 adults and children annually, helping them to find safety and stability as they start over.
Expanding impact
We operate out of 11 locations, reaching individuals and families throughout New York City.
Our 260 full-time staff speak over 30 languages, enabling us to support New York’s diverse communities.
We reach over 12,000 community members through education and training annually.
We engage more than 3,200 volunteers, including 1,230 pro bono attorneys, making it possible to extend our services to even more individuals.
