In November, Sanctuary will share over 100 Amazon Wish Lists with individuals and groups who are interested in supporting this special program. Lists are approximately $150 of gifts per person and range from 1-8 people. Ordering instructions and shipping deadlines will be shared with donors upon confirming their participation.

With your support, Sanctuary will collect over 1,000 gift cards for teens and adults as well as toys, books, and games for babies and children. Individuals and groups will be able to purchase gift cards and gifts ($25-30 each) via a shared Amazon Wish List or by donating new gifts directly to Sanctuary. The deadline to deliver gifts is Friday, November 29th. All deliveries must be prearranged. Please consider asking your friends, family, and coworkers to participate in this critical holiday effort for survivors of gender-based violence.

Sanctuary needs help sorting and organizing the wonderful donations we receive. We are hosting Holiday Helpers on 12/3, 12/4, 12/5, and 12/10, 12/11, 12/12 at our confidential Lower Manhattan location. On each date, there will be two shifts of up to 10 volunteers from 10:30am-12:30pm and 2:00-4:00pm.

Many corporations and law firms give year-end gifts to their employees. Consider asking your company to designate a gift to Sanctuary for Families, participate in the Adopt-a-Family Program, or fulfill Winter Wishes for survivors in lieu of employee gifts this year.
