The Anti-Trafficking Initiative provides survivors of sex trafficking with a range of resources to escape violence and build stable lives free from exploitation. We serve survivors of all ages, and we are equipped to address the specific needs of immigrants and LGBTQ people.
Many of our services are also provided through the innovative Human Trafficking Intervention Court located in Queens.
Legal Services
Since the majority of our clients are immigrants, we leverage our extensive experience in immigration law to help survivors obtain legal immigration status through T visas and other means. We also assist in vacatur cases and other measures to help survivors clear their records and start over.
Counseling
Our counselors are sensitive to the unique needs of survivors of trafficking, and are trained in a range of evidenced-based trauma-focused therapies to help clients heal.
Case Management
Trafficking survivors often have a range of needs, from housing to medical needs and more. Case managers provide customized assistance, referrals, appointment accompaniments, and other direct services to assist clients throughout the process.

Outreach
We conduct outreach at community events throughout New York City. We also collaborate with city, state and federal law enforcement, courts, hospitals and medical professionals to identify and assist trafficking victims.
Advocacy
We organize supporters and survivors to advocate for city, state and federal policies and legislation that protect victims and prevent trafficking.
