V-Day Bay Ridge is excited to partner with Sanctuary for Families for their readings of The Vagina Monologues!
On February 10th and 11th at 2pm, V-Day Bay Ridge will present two benefit readings of Eve Ensler’s award-winning play The Vagina Monologues as part of the International V-Day Campaign, celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2018.
V-Day Bay Ridge is produced and organized by local women in the South Brooklyn community. The project encourages women of the community to meet, socialize, and engage in activism through performing arts — with a focus on getting non-performers to participating in the reading. Through the funny and sometimes heartbreaking monologues, the participants connect on a wide range of issues which channels to audiences alike.
The staged readings will take place at The Owl’s Head Bar. Space is limited, so please get your tickets early. 100% of the proceeds will be donated — please visit the event page for more information.
