Survivors seeking to apply for asylum in the United States are required to file several documents, including a Form I-589, a country conditions report, and a client affidavit. If you are participating in the Pro Se Clinic, you will work with your client to draft and finalize their I-589. If you are participating in the Pro Se PLUS Clinic, you will work with your client to draft and finalize their I-589 and client affidavit.
This resource page contains materials and information for pro bono attorneys volunteering with the Pro Se/Pro Se PLUS Asylum Clinic to gather clients’ information and complete these asylum packets.
