Sex Trade Survivors Justice & Equality Act

Every day, women and girls – particularly of color, LGBTQ+ people, run-away and foster youth, individuals experiencing homelessness, and undocumented immigrants across our state – are forced by pimps, traffickers, or for the purpose of survival, to sell themselves to men with expendable income. 

It’s time for New York to address the sex trade, one of the most exploitative, unequal systems that exist in our state and commit to supporting those harmed.
