Tell Congress to Protect the Violence Against Women Act

Since its initial passage in 1994, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) has dramatically improved criminal justice responses to domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking and has provided critical funding to community based service providers in the U.S. With the Violence Against Women Act coming up for reauthorization and the 2018 budget negotiations beginning in October, these advancements are in jeopardy.
