Please join us at a conference on innovations in law enforcement techniques aimed at combating human trafficking in New York State. Panels will discuss successful charging and prosecution strategies, examine how law enforcement can work with NGOs to provide further assistance to victims, and describe how anti-trafficking technologies are being used to deter demand and identify victims.

Hear how electronic evidence is being used, how evidence-based prosecutions can successfully reduce the need for victims’ testimony, and how approaches for trauma-informed interviewing can build trust. There will be discussions of Human Trafficking Intervention Courts and implications of human trafficking laws for immigrants in an ever-changing landscape. Panelists and speakers will include expert law enforcement and NGO professionals from New York State and across the country.
