Fund Safe Housing for Survivors of Sex Trafficking

$750 provides one month of stable, safe shelter for a survivor of sex trafficking.

Right now, within a few subway stops from wherever you are in New York, hundreds of women and girls are literally forced into sexual slavery. Sanctuary’s Anti-Trafficking Initiative helps many of them escape each year, to find freedom from violence and abuse.

The first step is to provide safe shelter for these women, who are often teenagers. A safe and stable place to call home made a tremendous difference for Maria, a Sanctuary client and survivor of sex trafficking. Read Maria’s story.

Although we do everything we can to help women and girls entrapped in the nightmare of sex trafficking, beds in homeless and domestic violence shelters are often full. To increase the number of beds available, we are partnering with a convent in Long Island to provide shelter for our clients.

For $750, you can provide a room for a trafficking victim to live for one month in safety and receive essential services to start to make a new life. We hope you will support us with a donation today.
