Send a child to Camp HOPE this summer
This summer, Sanctuary for Families is partnering with Camp HOPE America to launch New York State’s first Camp HOPE, the only evidence-based camping program in America for children impacted by domestic violence.
From August 20 – 24, Sanctuary will take a group of 30 children, ages 12 to 17, to Upstate New York for a week-long camping experience. Through offering high-adventure activities, supporting healthy risk-taking, and building trust and social bonding, Camp HOPE provides children with an essential childhood experience and helps them find a pathway to hope.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 to send 30 children to Camp HOPE this summer. Please partner with us by supporting a child’s transformative experience at Camp HOPE.
Your donation makes a difference
$50 pays for transportation for one camper from New York City to Camp HOPE in Upstate New York.
$150 pays for an entire duffle bag filled with necessary camp supplies, including branded Camp HOPE water bottle and t-shirt, for one camper.
$250 pays for lodging and meals for one camper for the entire week of Camp HOPE.
$700 pays for a full week of Camp HOPE for one camper.
$1,000 pays for the full Camp HOPE experience, including pre- and post-camp events, for one camper.
